About Us

People are at the heart of everything we do. We embrace the fact that the best thing for every individual is to be at home, not in a home. At The Rowans we offer a choice for those people whose home support no longer works for them as an individual.

Each of our care homes within Bracebridge Care Group acts as a hub, where people in the local community can come for signposting and advice and where we support our belief in ‘home first’. Of course, we’ll be there for those people who do need a specialist plan of care and support, built and created with them and for them. That way, we can deliver exceptional care experiences for every person who chooses to live with us – whether long term or for respite care.

We’re registered with the CQC to provide the Regulated Activity of ‘Personal Care with Nursing’. This is defined as: the provision of personal care for people who are unable to provide it for themselves, because of old age, illness or disability, and which is provided to them in the place where those people are living at the time when the care is provided.

Why Us?

We provide an exceptional level of support and care that is based on being:

Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led

To achieve this, we work in partnership with each person living in our homes. This is at the very heart of everything we do.

We recognise that the people who live with us are a diverse group, and the support they require is highly individual and must be tailored to their particular needs, strengths and interests.

For each person we set out a detailed approach to work towards the outcomes they want to achieve.

Our Team

Our team members focus on outcomes, on individuals and on life. They join us from our local areas and we ensure they’re as diverse as the communities from which they come.

They all receive training in both the local and Bracebridge Group safeguarding policies and procedures, because the safety and security of every person who lives and works in our home is of paramount importance.

Our Leadership Team

Team ethos

There are a number of things we expect from members of our team:

  • To be responsible for the support all residents within the home; ensuring the very best outcomes are met and residents are safe and well cared for

  • To drive outstanding care provision within the service aligned to Company strategy and visions
  • To support and nurture other team members in their vocation. We lead by example at all times whilst encouraging others’ development, inclusion and wellbeing
