Samantha Crawley
Samantha is a positive, proactive and dynamic professional. She has a highly successful background spanning over 20 years in sales, marketing, operational delivery and business development within the care home sector.
Having held senior positions in the sector’s larger providers, such as Barchester Healthcare, Anchor Trust, Sanctuary Group and Excelcare, Samantha has the ideal experience to develop the Bracebridge Care portfolio - and the knowledge required to ensure its success.
Samantha is a non-exec Director of The Outstanding Society, holds a place on the HIN Advisory board and is a master practitioner in NLP. She was nominated for the Leaders in Care Award and the WAGs (Women Achieving Greatness in social care) awards where she was highly commended. Samantha was awarded the Chief Nurse Social Care Award in December 2022 for people who go above and beyond their roles. What’s more, she was also listed in the Power List 2022.
Samantha’s vision for Bracebridge Care is to build homes which integrate tightly with their local communities and provide places where people are proud to live and work.
Lianne Sturmey
Lianne Sturmey
Lianne started her career in the care sector as an assistant over 25 years ago. Throughout her career she has worked hard to rise through the ranks, gaining the necessary qualifications to advance first to Senior Care Assistant, then Deputy Manager and finally becoming Manager of her first home.
Lianne has been committed to improving the lives of both people in her care and the team she has worked alongside. She has an unflinching passion for providing quality, person-centred care and an approach and attitude that is totally in-step with Bracebridge Care’s own philosophy.
We are delighted to welcome her on board as Home Manager of The Oaks and The Maples.
Sarah Gashi
Sarah Gashi
Sarah has been working in care since 1989 starting off as a care assistant on the elderly wards in Aintree hospital. Throughout her career in care, Sarah worked across many areas including learning disabilities, mental health and general medical care.
Sarah’s dream was to become a nurse and she qualified in 2008. Sarah worked on MAU in Aintree Hospital for over 6 years and then went to the district where she ultimately led a team of nurses and care assistants, supporting the community.
Sarah left the NHS and became a complex lead nurse working for an organisation to support people who had become victims of incidents which left them with extensive injuries such as brain injuries, paraplegic or severe epilepsy.
This experience offered Sarah the breadth of experience she needed to undertake care home management, which she has done now for a few years. Sarah is passionate about leading a team, who can enable people to fulfil their aspirations whilst being supported with their needs in a homely, care setting.
Racheal Carroll
Racheal Carroll
Racheal is a key member of the learning and development team. Whilst her experience is isn’t rooted in the care sector, her personality and aptitude makes her an obvious choice to be part of the team.
For the past 12 year Racheal worked in training and recruitment for TUI Travel where she was responsible for training all staff - from reps and entertainment crews, to childcare and hotel teams. It was a role that took her to far-flung destinations including Mallorca, the Greek Islands, The Alps and Thailand and.
Now firmly back in the UK, Racheal is excited to join Bracebridge Care Group. She is responsible for creating training programmes to enable our care home teams to deliver outstanding practices in all our homes.
Louise Bouthemy
Louise Bouthemy
Louise is a skilled professional with over 15 years’ experience within the Health Care industry. She has worked in a variety of roles at senior level including Regulations & Compliance, Business Support & Development, Quality & Risk and Operations where she has shown a passion for delivering quality care and comfort to all.
With a deep knowledge and understanding of operational challenges, she has developed her experience and skill-set to lead care teams and working proactively alongside colleagues. Her exceptional focus has come into its own for reviewing, monitoring and improving policy, risk and quality.
Having worked in the sector from the ground up, Louise has been able to effectively inspire and energise her teams, advocate the right support for those in her care, and affect positive change within a challenging and competitive market. Louise’s attention to detail, coupled with an innate ability to inspire excellence, means she brings the ideal qualities to her role at Bracebridge Care.
Martin Cooper
Martin Cooper
Martin is a entrepreneurial Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant with over 26 years of experience in the healthcare, real estate and financial services space. Having previously held senior roles at one of the largest Care Home providers in the country and during his time with HSBC Bank he is well positioned as a strategic and tactical thinker to lead and manage Bracebridge Care.
With decades of experience in managing multi-million pound commercial contacts and his proven track record of partnering operational teams into progressive profitable functions Martin is a safe pair of hands for any business.
Martin is a widely networked professional with a demonstrable ability to drive growth in both mature and start-up businesses and his efforts were rewarded in 2019 when he and the Board of Runwood Homes won the prestigious Laing Buisson award for Property Developer of the year.
Martin’s passion is to build a sustainable platform for Bracebridge Care to continue building initiative, state of the art care homes for our local communities to enjoy with friends and family who choose to live and work there.

Tammy has been working within Recruitment sector for 21years. Specifically recruiting into Health & Social Care sector since 2007…Would I change it? Not a chance!
Tammy worked for Sanctuary Care for nearly 9.5 years and some smaller provisions such as Clarendon Care and Gray Healthcare. Tammy loves what she does and has a passion for recruiting the right people who share our values and commitment to the elderly generation – without whom we wouldn’t be here.
Tammy says “You can’t rush into making a wrong decision when it comes to caring for someone’s loved one”. The “nan test” never fails me…
